On Thursday, January 20 ImaginLab hosted the initial demonstrations of the SARDANA (Scalable Advanced Ring-based passive Dense Access Network Architecture) project which was presented by 7 European partners. The platform allowed them to test, under real conditions, high speed broadband for the next generation of network optical access.
On January 20, 2011 from 10H to 18H the ImaginLabplatform will host the European Sardana project. In brief; this project is dedicated to the new generation of optical access and related services, allowing an increase in the capacity of traditional optical access solutions by interconnecting the metropolitan and access networks. Organized by Sardana, Orange Labs, Anticipa, ImaginLab and Lannion Trégor Agglomération, this day will be structured around presentations of the project and its advancements as well as live demonstrations of equipment, services and video conferencing performed on the platform.
